The Minotaur Chase is based on the Phaistos Disc, with the design of the counters inspired by a range of Minoan artefacts and frescoes. During the game the players pick up certain cards based on the symbols their game counters have landed on. The cards offer information about Minoan culture and will either help or hinder a player’s progress. The objective of the game is to reach the centre of the labyrinth to retrieve a golden bullring and exit without being caught by the Minotaur. Each time a Player is caught by the Minotaur they have to return to the last base point they visited, which is either the beginning or the centre of the labyrinth.
